VfB Friedrichshafen struggled throughout the match, particularly in their attack. Missing some players due to injuries, the team found themselves out of rhythm from the start. The Grizzlys capitalized on their opponents’ mistakes, quickly taking the lead in each set and maintaining control throughout the match.
Despite also recent team changes Giesen remained composed, while Friedrichshafen’s players appeared nervous and inconsistent. Mark Rura led Giesen as their top scorer, contributing 12 points, while Ethan Robert Champlin was close behind with 11.
