In a second leg semifinal match in Suhl, SSC Palmberg Schwerin secured their spot in the German volleyball championship final with a 3:1 victory over VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen. Suhl stunned early by taking the first set 25:20, powered by strong serves and standout Anna Artyshuk. But Schwerin bounced back confidently, taking the next three sets 25:19, 25:20, and 25:23.
Despite a loud home crowd in Suhl’s Wolfsgrube arena and relentless pressure, Schwerin kept cool under fire. Key performances from Wolowicz, Dambrink, and Keene helped them turn the tide.
Schwerin now awaits their final opponent—either Dresden or Stuttgart—after their semifinal series was tied 1:1 on Saturday night.
