Only one day after they hired Australian Adam White, BR Volleys engaged U.S. player Kyle Russell.

A 23-year-old athlete, member of the U.S. „B“ National Team, came from the Polish MKS Będzin where he spent his first professional season after graduating at the University of California, Irvine. Russell is able to cover both attacking positions but BR Volleys’ coaching staff decided to use him only as opposite in the 2017/18 season.

By signing Russell, BR Volleys squad for the new season is complete, club announced on their website. It will consist of eight players that took German Champions last season, including prospect Egor Bogachev, and a total of four newcomers: above mentioned U.S. opposite Kyle Russell (MKS Będzin, Poland), Australian receiver Adam White (Tours Volley-Ball, France), Dutch setter Daan van Haarlem (Kladno volejbal cz, Czech Republic) and middle blocker Georg Klein (VfB Friedrichshafen).
