Colombian Jorge Emilio Moreno Payan paced AEK ATHENS with 24 points, with Spain’s Julian Garcia Torres and Ioannis Mantekas adding another 15 apiece to the count of the winning side. Austria’s Thomas Zass and Ukraine’s Andrii Diachkov paced Foinikas SYROS with 21 and 16 points respectively.
Foinikas SYROS had previously edged G.S. LAMIA in the semis 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-23) while AEK ATHENS had downed Ethnikos ALEXANDROUPOLIS in straight sets as well 3-0 (25-19, 29-27, 25-21).
