Liesbet Vindevoghel has the same opinion: “A bad beat especially for our audience, but we are growing. We still struggle and have ups and downs, plus we played an opponent who has maintained high and constant rhythm throughout the game unlike us. After every mistake we indulge too much, instead of reacting.“
Claudio Cuello: “We put the opponent under constant pressure and this prevented them from playing their game. We have shown a solid game system, especially on the wall-defense.“
In closing, Anja Spasojevic highlights the importance of continuity in the performance of her team: “We have never relaxed, maybe a little, but we had room for maneuver. Now we have to continue working in the gym because since last year so much has changed and we still need a little time to reach our full potential.“
