Padova didn’t open the game in the way they wanted since they lost the first set with a big difference (25-16). However, in the second set, they managed to tie the game and to keep the hopes for the win.
Milano again won the third set in a very convincing way 25-15, while in the fourth Padova made the same thing (25-15) to force the tie-break.
In the fifth set, Milano managed to set the control and get to the 15 points to claim the victory.
Timothy Maar (19 points) and Yuki Ishikawa (17 points) were the top scorers in Milano, while Toncek Stern was the top scorer in Padova with 23 points.
