ITA M: Sir Safety PERUGIA – Copra Elior PIACENZA 1:3

Kovac did not bring the desired results, despite the unprecedented sextet: Edgar and in the center and Petric in the role of opposite, Sir Safety PERUGIA had to surrender after four sets. Copra Elior PIACENZA, with this victory, moves to 2-0 in the series.

Copra Elior with Holt started by scoring six consecutive points, 0-6. Sir Safety struggled to recover, but PIACENZA did not stop running, which quickly led to 15-23, and soon after that to 17-25.

The situation was balanced at the start of the second set, 5-5 (Petric) and 10-10 (Schwarz). The equality prolonged all the way to 24-24, when PERUGIA managed to prevail 26-24.

Upon returning to the field Sir Safety got lost again and guests made another gap of 1-6, and 2-8. And as in the first set, PIACENZA wouldn’t let the lead slip away, so after 15-19 and 15-21, the epilogue came with 19-25.

After the initial +3 in favor of the guests in the start of the fourth set, the hosts of Sir Safety PERUGIA leveled the score to  4-4. The game proceed point by point until 11-13. Then PERUGIA got back to the game again and made 15-13. The score kept being tied, with small leads on both sides, and after a tough fourth set battle, PIACENZA finally celebrated 23-25.
