He is enjoying role of professional sportsman, but he showed that he is also thinking about the future. In an interview for Italian media, young Serbian revealed that he is studying law, and that his plan is to become a lawyer:
“I have finished the second year. Luckily, I am allowed to study by the special program, because I play at national level. To be honest, I don’t know how I would combine school and volleyball without it, because of many obligations.” – said Atanasijević, and added:
“I care a lot about studies, because I know that my parents, both doctors, would be really disappointed if I decided to quit the school. Also, I know that I can stay in volleyball for 10, maybe 15 years more, and then I will have to do something else in life. I want to be a lawyer”.
