Copra Elior Piacenza has beat the current champions of Italy, Diatec Trentino with 3-0, and the captain Hristo Zlatanov was the MVP and the best scorer of the match with 14 points.

Since 1993 he is playing in the Italian Seria A and so far he has scored 8998 points. In the next match against Andreoli Latina February 22, he will be Mr. 9000 (his new nickname from his teammates). He promised them if he does not reach 9000 points after that game, he will pay them dinner.
