Itas Trentino made a winning debut to the 2021/22 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship.
The debut of Itas Trentino to 2021/22 SuperLega Credem Banca was successful. At the closing of Round 1, the team coached by Angelo Lorenzetti prevailed over Verona Volley in straight sets. The match was full of twists, which the fight in the second set shows in the best way (Trentino had 21-16 but Verona tied at 22-22).
Bulgarian veteran Matey Kaziyski notched 16 points on the winning side, four of which came from the service line.
