Revivre Milano
The new ‘victim’ of Modena was one of the teams from upper half of the standings, Top Volley Latina – 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-18).
Modena had three players with double digits – Earvin Ngapeth (16), Uroš Kovačević (12) and Luca Vettori (10).
Jeroen Rauwerdink was the best in Latina, who did not have a player with double digits. The Dutch scored 9 points.
Energy T.I. Diatec Trentino collected its 5th victory in a row in Serie A1, 8th if CEV Cup is counted.
Altotevere Città di Castello-Sansepolcro showed slight resistance to the favorites and lost in straight sets – 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-21).
The most notable players in Trentino were Martin Němec with 15 and Filippo Lanza with 13. In Città di Castello, Árpád Baróti stood up with 17 points.
Revivre Milano is still struggling to move up from the very bottom of the table, but they managed to score its second win. It noted both triumphs in the last month which could ba a good indicator for their fans.
Milano beat Vero Volley Monza as a visitor in a tie-break and with a stunning peformance of Milan Bencz who had 28 points! He was follwed by Péter Veres (17). Monza was led by Andrea Galliani and Iacopo Botto, both scored 16.
