“I had little time to work with the guys because the matches are close to each other before the break. Maybe if there was the break at the moment we would have done something more in the gym. Overall, I have seen many positive things that can help us so much in the rest of the season and, I believe, we will be able to achieve high goals,” Kovač, who became Perugia’s coach one week ago, said.
“Of course, the team can improve by focusing on aggression, especially in spiking. In the games so far, I’ve seen that the efficiency in the service was very low. Another of the key points of the season would be if we become better in the block. As for the counter attacks, I think that the outside hitters might help us out, with the setter De Cecco trying to change their positions. Even with the balls far from the net we can make our actions more ordered, not only with the solutions of individuals but with the team play. I’m trying to pass this to the guys, however, we are only at the beginning and with only a few days spent together.” Serbian expert revealed some details on which he will focus his work.
