It is official! Jovana Stevanović will play for Pomi Casalmaggiore in the 2016/17 season! Despite having a lot of offers from much richer clubs than Pomi is, the Serbian middle blocker decided to stay in the pink crew for one more year.
“Everyone ask me what convinced me to stay in Casalmaggiore, despite many offers from other clubs. Usually, the top players go where the money is better, but my case is different. I do everything with my heart and my heart is with Pomi and their fans. There are some things that are more important than money and those feelings and emotions that I have for Pomi can not be bought. I want to keep winning with the club and to take Pomi as high as possible in the next season,“ said Stevanović for the official website of Pomi Casalmaggiore.
Stevanović arrived in Casalmaggiore in 2013, and so far she has won Italian Championship, Italian Super Cup and the CEV Champions League with the Pink cquad.
