In the first two sets, the Block Devils showed a much better level of volleyball which gave them 2-0 lead. Trentino had to extend the game somehow and they managed to do it by taking the third sets 25-23!
However, Perugia prevailed in the fourth to leave the rival behind and to advance to the final.
Aleksandar Atanasijevic had a good display, finishing the match with 25 points. Aaron Russell had 16, while Zaytsev added 10.
Luca Vettori scored 18 on the other side, while two debutants Kovacevic and Eder ended g the me with 10 points each.
