The Italian men’s volleyball club Revivre Milano announced its first market hit for the upcoming season.

As Milano president Lucio Fusaro announced a week ago, a 26-year-old Dutch opposite Nimir Abdel-Aziz has renewed his contract with SuperLega club for the 2018/19 season.

This season is the first for Abdel-Aziz in Milano. Before he sustained the injury, which occurred nearly a month ago, the Dutchman was the best scorer of an Italian league. Now, he has fallen to third place on the list with 422 points. He averaged more than 50% attack in the tournament, so far.

„I’m very happy to be able to keep playing in Revivre Milano jersey next season. I’m happy because I feel really good with the team, the staff, and the fans. I feel honored to be the first piece of the team next year and with the strong will of the club and president Lucio Fusaro to bet on me again. It’s a great sign of confidence that I want to repay by playing the finish of the season at my best and throughout the next championship,“ Abdel-Aziz said upon renewing his contract with Milano.
