Since the game started with 28-30 in the first set and it did show promise, it was a great game apart from the fourth set, where Conegliano has practically disappeared from the field. A game with great character addressed by both teams, with the hosts unable to sink their claws in moments of weakness of their opponents.
The statistics show a more aggressive Chieri serving (4 aces), but less careful in error handling (27-19), an aspect that might have cost far more Salvagni‘s team.
Liesbet Vindevoghel was the MVP. Not without flaws, but led a decisive attack (42%) and block (6).
