For the third successive season, now the veteran Agámez, will compete in the United Arab Emirates. In each of these seasons, a 36-year-old opposite hitter wore the jersey of a different club. Now, Agámez moved from Hatta Club Dubai, who finished fourth in the national championship last year, to the ranks of the bronze medalists Shabab Al Ahli.

The Colombian bomber is a well-respected player in South America, no wonder given numerous individual awards he earned over the years, such as MVP and Best Scorer of the CEV Cup, and MVP of the CEV Challenge Cup (among others).
