Asseco Resovia – Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle
Zaksa started the game making too many errors. In the end of the first set, they even led 23:21, but couldn’t stay on the right track and eventually let the set to rivals. In the second one Daniel Castellani shaped up Zaksa’s play, which finally led to claiming the set with great difference – 25:14.
After the disasterous second set, Asseco consolidated, rebuilt their play, regained confidence and easily dominated the rest of the game. This brought Resovia the Polish Championship title. “Both teams deserved to play in the final, but only one could win”, said Włodzimierz Sadalski.
