As they got back on track last weekend edging Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA in the second round of the national league, Poland’s champions Atom Trefl SOPOT are getting ready for their debut in the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League but first will play Muszynianka MUSZYNA for the third round of the national league sponsored by ORLEN.

“They have changed a lot since last year and so their game is totally different” says Atom Trefl libero Mariola Zenik.Still we need to stay concentrated and play motivated. We never played an easy game there but I think positive and I am really excited about this game”.

After a shaky start of the season with two straight defeats Atom Trefl SOPOT seems back on track and is looking forward to the challenges ahead. “Every time we take the court we want to win and this is our goal also for the coming game in Muszyna” adds middle-blocker Zuzanna Efimienko. “We have to be well-prepared tactically but the most important thing will be our attitude. We need to show our best and this only depends on us. I hope we will return back to Sopot in a good mood and with our second victory in the national league”

After playing in Muszyna on Saturday, the Atomic girls will travel back to Sopot and on Monday evening fly to Romania for their first CL fixture against Dinamo Romprest BUCURESTI.
