“We are all looking forward to the start of this competition and our goal is to play the best possible way in every match” said club President Robert Kocma.
Tauron MKS lost the last couple of matches in the national league to Atom Trefl SOPOT and Chemik POLICE so the game with BACAU is a good opportunity to get back on track. Tauron MKS was assigned by the DOL to a preliminary group including – apart from Stiinta – also Dinamo KAZAN of Russia and Volero ZURICH of Switzerland.
“After the DOL we thought we were assigned to an easy group but this is not the case. Dinamo does not need to be presented but Volero has also put together a strong team. A tough game is coming up also on Wednesday as we play Stiinta BACAU” says head coach Waldemar Kawka. The players and the coaching staff just take it step by step. “If we want to achieve something in this competition we need first to edge Stiinta. We have only two days to recover from our last defeat in the national league but I am confident that the game with BACAU will show our real face” Kawka concludes.
