During the game between Lotos Trefl Gdansk and DHL Modena, Bruno Rezende lost his balance and fell deeply into the rival’s side of the court, but the referees did not stop the point! The rally continued and Modena won the point at the end… It made Andrea Anstasi, head coach of Gdansk, made quite unusual protest to the refs…
He firstly tried to explain to the second referee that Bruno clearly went on the Gdansk side of the court, while then he literally sat on the floor to show what has just happened! Everyone in the hall started laughing, including Earvin Ngapeth who quickly ran toward Anastasi to help him get up.

We don’t need bad behavior on volleyball courts……it’s typical reaction of the coach who loose positions in high level volleyball…..and he is angry on everyone……..
I am sure he did this because the referees didn’t see that Bruninho was completely on the other side of the court… Shame for referees if that wasn’t fault for Polish team…
Of course ! Referees are bad and wrong. Coaches are never guilty !
Bruno’s feet were on his own field. So, this is strictly according to the rules. It seems to be that Anastasi don’t know the rules, which is really bad for volleyball.
But he felt over virtually at Hebda’s foot. Polish commentator had right- this showed that Hebda is inexperienced player – because every experienced, clever guy in this situation would felt over and referee propably would have to decide that Bruno constricted the game. And this was the reason of Anastasi protest- Bruno lied almoust all his body on the Lotos field and Hebda couldn’t make a block.
