POL M: Ex-captain of Turkish NT finds his first independent coaching job in PlusLiga

Former Turkish Men’s Volleyball National Team captain, who collected more than 100 matches in its jersey, Sinan Cem Tanık, became the new coach of Polish top division team Effector Kielce.

A 36-year-old ex-receiver of a Turkish NT is the first ever foreign coach of Effector, although he is familiar with PlusLiga since he has been defending the colors of Indykpol AZS Olsztyn from 2006 to 2008, becoming the first Turkish player to compete in Poland.

Tanık has spent the longest part of his professional career in Halkbank Ankara (2004-2006 and 2008-2010). He retired while playing in Galatasaray İstanbul, where he began his coaching career. Tanık was member of Galatasaray coaching staff before being appointed as Team Manager.
