Unlike the list that Polish media revealed earlier this month, Heynen’s official list contains names of 22 players of which only two are missing compared to the roster that competed in the Final Six of the 2018 Volleyball Nations League – Bartłomiej Lemański and Maciej Muzaj.
There are several players who have returned to the squad after the above-mentioned tournament such as Dawid Konarski, Piotr Nowakowski, and Michał Kubiak.
As part of the preparations for the World Championships, Poland will play Cameroon on August 18, France, Canada and Russia in the Memorial Hubert Wagner on August 24-26, and Belgium on September 5.
Poland’s campaign in the World Champs will begin on September 12 against Cuba, in Varna, Bulgaria.
