After that, the esteemed guests stayed at the cocktail party and talked with the officials of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia about the future cooperation.
The delegation of the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS) is staying in Belgrade for a meeting of the AIPS Europe Executive Board.
“It is very important for us to host such high representatives of the international media. They are always welcome. We have already worked together with some of them, and we hope to involve many more in our activities. We talked about our plans for the future and the means to promote our sport in close cooperation with the press” Mr. Boričić said.
“First of all, I would like to thank the Serbian sports community, from the Ministry of Sports through the affiliated federations to the journalists. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know the Serbian sports society. You have achieved so much in many sports, like basketball, volleyball and football. This is a great opportunity to develop the relations between the AIPS, AIPS Europe and the Serbian sports community. We love sports, we work all day long, and this is the reason why we are here. Serbian sports have a long tradition, you have won many medals, and you continuously produce new athletes and new teams. Without much money, but with strong dedication, solid organization and good academic education, you produce a lot. I think that is the right way for the future, to focus primarily on the sports” Mr. Daras concluded.
