“Serbia is a good opponent and it was pleasure to play against them those three matches. I think that the second game was the best especially because in the last one we did not have energy at all. In contrast to Serbia, who all the time rotated the team and gave all players a chance to play, we played in the same line up. All three matches we played with the best team and after that and all training which we had here, we were feeling tired. But, I can say that we are satisfied because we played solid against one very good Serbian team “ said Maja Poljak, for sure the best player in the Croatian team.
On the other side Jovana Brakočević is also satisfied with all three wins.
“I am glad that Croatia came to Belgrade to play those three matches against us because that schedule we will also have in the World Championship in Italy. We have learned that it is not easy to play in this rhythm, but it seemed to me that from game to game we played better. Form goes up, but we still have time to bring everything to perfection. I hope for the best at the World Championship.”
