The Vice-Champion of Turkey, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Istanbul, has clinched first place in the TAURON Giants of Volleyball 2023 tournament (TAURON Gigantów Siatkówki Cup) in Poland.
Emerging triumphant over Developres BELLA DOLINA Rzeszów in the final with a solid 3-0 win, Eczacibasi Istanbul demonstrated their mastery in every set (25-22, 27-25, 25-22). This victory was all the more impressive given their performance in the preliminary match where they defeated Grupa Azoty Chemik Police 3-1. Sinead Jack-Kısal was named the most valuable player in the said match, contributing a commendable 16 points.
Adding another layer of excitement to the tournament, Chemik Police secured their position as the third team, overpowering SC Potsdam 3-0 in a gripping match on Sunday. The set scores for this match were 25-22, 29-27, and 26-24, showcasing the competitive spirit of the teams.
