THY Sports Club (Türk Hava Yolları SK) officially announced that Brazilian coach Zé Roberto has decided to step down from his role. The club confirmed the news on social media, stating that the decision to part ways was made after Zé Roberto expressed his wish not to continue.
During his tenure, Zé Roberto took the team to the Turkish Cup and Championship semifinals, though they fell short in the CEV Cup. This season, THY started strong, winning three of their first four games, with their only loss against Fenerbahçe.
