Beşiktaş were very good especialy in the first three sets, when they managed to stay in the game after missing a few chances to even take the lead in sets.
In fourth set, Halkbank demonstrated power and clinched the win. Kooy had 20 points, while Le Roux added 17 and Kubiak 16. In home team, Tuia had 20 and Grozdanov 19…
Before the start of the fourth round, Ziraat Bankasi and Istanbul BBSK were the only undefeated teams in domestic league. Now, we don’t have undefeated teams.
It is still unclear what happened to Champions league participant in Istanbul, especially in the first two sets. In the first set, they took 14 points, while in the second set they reached 12 points.
They managed somehow to win the third set, but in fourth, Galatasaray prevailed and clinched the win. Christopher Urango led the home team with 25 points, while in Ziraat Venno Oliver had 13 points.
Maliye Milli Piyango easily smashed Istanbul BBSK in three sets. Serhat Coskun dominated with 19 points.
