The away side couldn’t do anything against Arkas except to surrender! The French opposite Antonin Rouzier led the reigning champions with 14 points, while Gokhan Gokgoz added 12. On the other side, Toy Metin had 15!
But, derby of the round was played in Ankara. Two teams that represent Turkey in the CEV Champions league met each other. Halkbank suprisingly took 3-0 win! But, it could have different outcome. The second set was decisive. Both sides fought very hard and home team somehow managed to take it and to increase the result in sets! Afterwards, Halkbank didn’t have any problems.
Kevin Le Roux was the top scorer with 18 points, while Dick Kooy added 14. In Ziraat, two players ended match with double digits, Nilsson and Rauwerding (12 points each).
Maliye Milli Piyango barely managed to down Beşiktaş after playing five sets…
