FIVB considers her under contract with Hungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders. Her contract with Fenerbahce is not valid. MVP of the Champions League and the Olympics might be suspended for a year.
The case is of her six year contract with Hungkuk that she signed in 2005. She played for four years for them, then two on a loan at JT Marvelous (Japan), and last year she spent on a loan in Fenerbahce. Heungkuk claims that the years she spent on a loan don’t count, and that she has a contract that binds her for two more years.
