Nimir Abdel Azis could become the first Netherlands national team player who will win the Champions League since Peter Blange. Peter won it in 1999 with Sisley TREVISO. Abdel Aziz will try to do the same with Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO. They play in the semifinals with ZAKSA KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE.

Abdel Azis and CUNEO will play in the second semifinal game with ZAKSA KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE, the newly promoted Polish Cup winner. The winner will play in the final game the next day, the defeated team will play for the bronze.
