It is a pity we did not cross the border of sixteen points in set 1 and 2. Then the guests took many straight points and turned around the score in their favor. We did not manage to defend against Rourke. Although we did well in serving, our defense and attacking was not that good anymore. However, in set 3 we managed to get through their high blocks by making the game faster and this set stayed very close until the end. It is a pity we lost 0:3 because the match was not so crystal clear at the end” comments Solange Soares, the captain of the Czech team.

The key to our success was in our reception and blocking and most of the time we did well in these two fundamentals. The hosts started to score when our reception or defense worsened. To sum up I think we were the better team tonight and we deserved to win” singles out Adam Grabowski, the assistant coach of Atom Trefl SOPOT.

We are very happy that we won tonight. We had some problems only at the start of the second set and at the end of the third set because of our reception. The third set was a battle for every single point, but the important thing is we finally claimed it. Our 3:0 win is very important and makes us feel great” says Izabela Belcik, the captain of Atom Trefl SOPOT.
