In case you didn’t know, Mari has returned to the volleyball scene. She currently plays for Brazilian club team Banana Boat together with American receiver Kimberly Glass and Cuban star Yusleyni Herrera Alvarez.
As far as injuries, Mari has three surgeries already throughout her career. The last one with Fenerbahce involved a torn ligament in her left knee.
