In a move aimed at bolstering their roster for the 2023-24 season of the Sultanlar League, Beşiktaş Ceylan has announced the appointment of Italian expert Giovanni Caprara as their head coach. The veteran coach comes with an impressive pedigree, carrying championship titles from the FIVB World Club Championship, European Champions League, and CEV Cup.
Caprara launched his head coaching career with Foppapedretti Bergamo. He has since made his mark across a range of clubs including Rebecchi Nordmeccanica Piacenza, Eczacıbaşı, Pomi Casalmaggiore, Bisonte Firenza, and CSM Targovişte, among others.
His international acclaim is not limited to club level, having coached national teams from the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Greece, and Russia.
