BRA W: Two-Time Olympic Champion Jaqueline Announces Return to Volleyball with Campinas

by WoV

At age 39, two-time Olympic champion Jaqueline Carvalho Endres has confirmed her return to the volleyball court. With victories in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 under her belt, Jaqueline will now represent Campinas, a recent entrant in the Paulista Championship and Superliga C for 2023.

Jaqueline’s comeback announcement was shared jointly on Instagram with her new team, stating, “JAQUE IS BACK, it’s showtime!”

The Campinas team is set to leverage her experience and quality over the next two seasons, with sights set on reaching the top tier of the Superliga.

Even after her third tenure with Osasco ended in 2021, Jaqueline never officially retired. Instead, she devoted time to her family and cultivated a successful career as a digital influencer, garnering almost 2 million followers on Instagram. Now, the sports world is excited to see her return to her first love – volleyball.
