Itambé Minas beat Sesi-SP and earned their third victory in the 2022-23 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship.
Led by the veteran opposite, Leandro Vissotto, Minas defeated Sesi by three sets to one in the big match valid for the third round of the 2022-23 Superliga 1XBET Masculina. Playing at home in São Paulo, the team commanded by the 2014 Olympic champion, Anderson Rodrigues, aimed to defend its invincibility against the side having the same status. But it was Minas who kept the perfect record of 3-0 in the competition.
Vissotto was the author of 18 points in the match, the most of all players on the court. He was one of as many as five players with double digits in the winning team.
