It has been confirmed by Gazprom-Yugra Surgut that Milan Katic has renewed his contract, and Petar Krsmanovic will be returning to the team’s roster for the upcoming season.
Katic joined the team in October 2022 and contributed to their playoff success, while Krsmanovic is making a comeback after four years. Back in 2016, Gazprom-Yugra Surgut recruited Krsmanovic as an unknown middle blocker. He played for the team for three years before moving on to play for Italy’s Piacenza and the Serbian national team. Krsmanovic spent two seasons with Kuzbass Kemerovo before playing for Vojvodina Novi Sad in Serbia last season.
