The Italian Women’s Volleyball top division side Savino Del Bene Scandicci engaged Samantha Bricio, confirming the exclusive info that our website shared at the end of March.

After announcing the contract signing with the 19-year-old outside hitter Elena Pietrini from Club Italia Crai yesterday, Scandicci did the same with Samantha Bricio today. Thus, the information regarding this transfer that we shared at the end of the March was confirmed.

A 24-year-old Mexican player, covering the outside hitter position, came to the 2018/19 Italian Championship playoff semifinalist from Fenerbahçe Opet, Turkey. This will Bricio’s return to Italy after a year as she competed for Imoco Volley Conegliano from 2016 to 2018, winning the national title one time.

Earlier, Scandicci extended with two starters from the last season.

FRA W: RC Cannes sign outside hitter from Texas University

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
