Slobodan Kovac is the new head coach of the men’s Slovenian volleyball national team. The Serbian coaching expert currently works in Ankara, as a coach of Halkbank.
“We captured the moment to sign the hottest coaching name that was available at the moment. All I can say that we are extremely satisfied with this decision,” says president of Slovenian Volleyball Federation, Metod Ropret.
The first action of the new head coach will be qualification for the World Championship that will be held in Slovenia. The rivals that will visit Ljubljana are Belgium and Portugal.
Recall that Kovac has replaced Andrea Giani, who took over the German national team.
