Sebastian Warda and Adam Smolarczyk complemented the squad of ZAKSA for the 2019/20 season.
Warda joined Plus Liga champion’s team, completing the middle blocker position in the next season’s roster. A 30-year-old player has already performed in ZAKSA, in the 2011/12 season. In the last season, Warda played for Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.
As for Smolarczyk, he spent the last season in Division 2, defending the colors of AZS AGH Kraków. A 25-year-old outside hitter has a respectable youth career, winning the Polish Junior Championship with SMS PZPS Spała twice and being named Best Outside Hitter of the tournament once.
Prior to these 2 players, ZAKSA engaged middle blockers – American David Smith (Asseco Resovia Rzeszów) and Krzysztof Rejno (Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie), and outside hitter Kamil Semeniuk (Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie).
