Eczacıbaşı have significantly improved their form in the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi regular season. ‘The Tigers’ have written down the sixth successive win in the league, the ninth counting all competitions. In a delayed match of the 17th round, Eczacıbaşı easily beat second-to-last Beşiktaş (3-0: 25-14, 25-14, 25-22) and firmed themselves at the fourth position in the ranking, having 17-4 and 54 points.

Saliha Şahin tallied 14 points on the winning side, while Melisa Memiş had 71 % reception. The Eczacıbaşı coaching staff decided to give a day off to practically an entire starting lineup: Bošković, Ogbogu, Thompson, Simge, Hande, and Beyza. Some of them were registered for the match but didn’t play, while some were out of the protocol.
