Two Brazilian outside hitters, Henrique Batagim and Jônatas Cardoso „Negão“, both 24 years old, have reinforced 18-time Greek titleholders Panathinaikos.

Batagim was recently let go by the Polish side Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz. See his stats this season.

As for Negão, who can also cover the opposite position, he started the season in Stade Poitevin Volley Beach, France.

Both already made their debut for Panathinaikos and Negão’s was memorable! Check out his stats in January.

Panathinaikos found themselves in a highly difficult situation in the A1. They are at the penultimate position in the standings with a 2-11 record and 8 points short for the zone that secures the survival in the league.
