Guiggi
Martina Guiggi is a new member of Pomi Casalmaggiore.
Last season she played for Foppapedretti BERGAMO.
She competed at the 2008 and 2016 Olympics and won the 2007 Women’s European Volleyball Championship and 2007 FIVB Women’s World Cup. In 2006 was named Best Blocker of the European Cup.
She played at the 2013 Club World Championship with Guangdong Evergrande winning the bronze medal after defeating Voléro Zürich 3-1. Besides indoors volleyball she competed nationally in beach volleyball.
“I am very happy to have joined the Pomì family. This team is a young but has already learned how to win, and I know it well because I’ve lost a championship against them. I’m here to win, to start a new project and this excites me a lot. I greet all the fans and expect them soon. ” said Martina who will wear the jersey No 7.
