Valerio Vermiglio, an experienced setter and a former two-time European champion with Italy's NT, showed his troublesome temper during a derby of Iranian league, which cost him injury.

During the match of his Paykan Tehran and Sarmayeh Bank (1-3), two days ago, Vermiglio got into a verbal fight with rival Mehdi Mahdavi which was transformed into physical confrontation!

As a result, Vermiglio was hit in the leg and with the help of his teammates was taken out from the court. After that, he was immediately summoned to give a statement to the police and finally, was rushed to the hospital.

Both players are suspended by Iranian Federation until further notice.

It was all Vermilio’s fault! He insulted Iran NT players in all sets. All the world know how freaky he is when he loses! This psychic player shouldn’t play in our league!

If he was psychic, wouldn’t he know, in advance, that this would cause a suspension? But maybe a psychotic player does not care.
