Kasprzyk and De Giorgi
“Fifteen minutes after the information on a dismissal of the coach (De Giorgi) by the board appeared, my e-mail box began to fill up. There are seven candidates (to replace De Giorgi). Maybe they are not big names, but they are well-known. Polish coaches are the priority, but if we can get the best foreign coach in the world, we will take him into consideration. All coaches are employed at the moment, although not everyone in the high-level leagues,” Kasprzyk said to “Przegląd Sportowy”.
“We got the offers from Kuba (Jakub) Bednaruk and Robert Prygiel,” the PZPS President confirmed some of the speculations that appeared in media.
“Jacek Nawrocki has a contract to lead the female national team until August 2018, and we do not intend to terminate it because we see that, step by step, he pursues his plan. I was not ashamed of our national team in the European Championship. The girls fought and I saw the progress compared to previous years,” Kasprzyk denied that Nawrocki might make the switch from the Women’s NT to the Men’s NT bench.
