How is adapting to new team going?
“Things are great and as expected with any team or season, you aren’t going to have a perfect 9 months. This is my second professional season so I am constantly faces new situations as each day goes by and growing and learning from each one of them. Our team has been through a lot together this season and I’m really excited to see the end result as we keep battling and growing together each day. “
Do you miss the United States?
“Of course I do, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love where I am. I miss things like moments with my family and loved ones, random things that I can get in the grocery store here, communicating without having to try hard and other simple things like that. “
What are your personal expectations for this season?
“I’m still considered a “young player” (23 years) so I want to keep growing as a player through each match experience and practice and become an all-around better middle blocker. “
Do you like Poland?
“This is my second season in Poland and I still enjoy it as much as the first. The fans show up every match, the TV crew that airs our matches does a great job at showcasing the sport, the country loves volleyball, the league is well organized, living is easy here, and it hasn’t snowed yet so I’m still happy. Of course the getting dark at 4pm hasn’t been easier to get used to this time around, but I am still really enjoying Poland and it’s league.“
How about Polish fans?
“They are awesome. The way the league does volleyball matches is great. The music, cheering, horns, fan flags, fan section, and how into it every gets makes the game so much more fun. I brag to people about Polish fans all the time. “
How long do you expect to stay in Dabrowa Gornicza?
“I don’t think you can expect anything when it comes to professional volleyball because things are always happening and right now the only thing know is that I have 4 months left to dedicated to my team and the rest is up to club on whether they want to ask me back or not.”
Do you read WorldofVolley?
“I do! I read the tweets more and they take me to the articles. I think it’s great. I love when people and organizations take time to grow the game and gain peoples interest when it comes to volleyball. Thank you for doing a great job!”
