Taras Khtei speaks with WoV
“I wish, first of all, to congratulate the Serbian team for their excellent game and victory. They are a young and promising team that has proven to be at a very high level. We came with an experimental team and we all wanted to win but we couldn`t. We tried to come back with our game, but we failed to stay concentrated, and weren’t in a position to respond to the motivated Serbians.”

Your team Belogorie BELGOROD has won four trophies this season, but you lost in the big Final. Would you say that tou lost the most valuable trophy?
“We have won the Russian Super Cup and Cup, Champions League and the World Club Championship, but we were not able to round up all because we fell in Russian Championship. We are sorry about that because it was our main goal, but other trophies come to us as a consolation. I believe that next season we will make it right, because we always have the same goals.”
So, this means that you still remain in Russia and Belgorod?
“Yes. Only in Russia!” – said Taras Khtey, the Russian receiver who 16 years playing in Russia and never played abroad.
