First of all, are you satisfied with your performances in 2015?
“I am very happy with the last year as we took the silver medal at the European championship. It was really a big goal during the summer and I am so happy that we reached it.”
Why did you choose Vakifbank?
“I chose Vakifbank because I think it is one of the best clubs in the world. I was so honored that I even received the offer. I could only say yes. Also I think it can be a big step forward in my career to work with the best staff and players.”
Have you gotten used on life in Istanbul?
“I like Istanbul a lot, it’s a beautiful city and the people are so nice! It was very easy to get used to the life there.”
Could you describe your teammates in three words?
“Professionals, dedicated and fun.”
Who makes the best jokes in Vakifbank?
“The girl with the best jokes is probably Robin or maybe Milena. Especially these two together are very funny.”
What are your personal and career goals for 2016?
“My personal goal is to get better every day and my career goal is to reach Oympics inRio, to become Turkish champion and winner of the Champions League. “
What is your biggest motivation?
“My biggest motivation is that I always want to develop, to be better than I was before. And of course I love the game so much, that’s the main reason I play actually.”
Where did you spend New Year’s eve?
“I spent NY eve with my boyfriend and friends but we didn’t do something special, just food and drink. Because we had practice a day after. I wish you an awesome 2016!”
