How do you assess today’s game?

Today’s match was the first before the home crowd. We played a very difficult opponent. My impression is that in the first set our rivals did not show their capabilities, plus we played really well. Then the situation changed. Arkas Izmir risked and won. In PlusLiga games will be completely different. I am full of optimism before the league which will be starting soon.

The period of preparation for the season started at the end of July. Was there enough time?

Recently, Pawel Siezieniewski joned the team, he is a new player and in some situations, we have a little trouble to get along. But I think we will polish the details soon.

What are your team’s advantages?

This is a young team that has a lot of opportunities but must be able to use it. Surely we do not have any pressure, which is a big plus. I think that when we go out on the pitch and fight, and leave our heart on the field, then this game will look a lot better.

Why did you decide to remain in Warsaw?

I must admit that I did not have too many choices. I am in Warsaw my third season. The team has a very nice atmosphere. I believe that this team that has been built, is adequate for achieving our goals. We want to be in the top eight. We’ll try to do even better.

Memorial Zdzislaw Ambroziak is becoming more and more attractive from year to year … What do you think of this year’s organization?

– I think this is a very nice tournament. From year to year it is becoming stronger cast, more and more attention is paid to detail. I think this year was more publicized than in previous years. I think that the level will be very high. Friday matches announced that it will be a lot of fighting.
