The 21st round of the TAURON Liga continued with a match between Roleski Grupa Azoty Tarnów and Grot Budowlani Łódź, which took place in the Łódź Sport Arena.
In the first round, the Grot Budowlani had won 3:2, and this time, they managed to secure a 3-1 victory over Roleski Grupa Azoty Tarnów. This win keeps them in the running for the fifth-place spot, currently occupied by Energa MKS Kalisc. However, they will need to win both of their remaining matches and hope that Energa MKS Kalisc does not score a single point.
Melis Durul of Grot Budowlani Łódź emerged as the match’s top scorer with an impressive 23 points, while Aleksandra Kazala contributed 22 points to their victory. On the losing side, Wiktoria Szumera was the most effective player with 15 points.
The victory has given Grot Budowlani Łódź a glimmer of hope to finish the season in fifth place, but they will need to continue their winning streak and hope for favorable results in the remaining matches of the main round.
